Mocha WOL App Reviews

Very easy to configure and easy to use!! Been trying to use Splashtop WOL, will be using this until they get it together and come out with interactions on how to configure that!!

Fails to wake up my windows 7 pc. Mac wake-on-lan utility works ok for that pc btw. This app requires you to input MAC address explicitly, it does not have scan network function.

I have a Windows Home Server upstairs that I dont leave turned on all the time, so wanted a program to wake it up from downstairs. Installed this program, entered the MAC address, and it worked perfectly. Thanks for an awesome app, one thats free!

Seems too little functionality for a single app. MochaSoft also offers a VNC app that does the same thing. The VNC app is very cool, but why offer this? Needs to do a bit more.

I was looking for an app for My iPad which I could use to Wake Up my PC on my home network. This little app was easy to setup and does the trick!

Could not save the configuration. After entering the Mac address 10 times the configuration saved, but even after that it would not show the computers status or wake it up. This may be due to a very old iOS version on the iPad.

Delivers on most points. Would be nice if macaddresses could be discovered too. How about auto-wakeup on joining a certain wifi? I call it coming home mode.

The GUI is a little buggy, but it works :D

Seems to work just fine. There is a basic scanner which can retrieve machine names but not the Mac address. Its just one extra step to enter manually but not a biggie.

Except it is really stupid it boots to configure instead of wake up. How many times do you use the configure tab? Once. Wake up tab? Every time you open the app. Would rate 5 stars if it wasnt for that.

Does exactly what it says. Occasionally crashes when multitasking but excellent nonetheless

Have to manually enter MAC addresses etc., and doesnt work over Wi-Fi. Dont bother.

Really useful and great application and for Free !!! Am using it to wake up my server from both LAN and Internet and its working great...

I tried many of the free WoL apps and this is the best. Easy to save configs, works outside of LAN, resolves host names (for dyndns), allows you to change listening ports, etc. It even pings the target afterwards to make sure its awake (if your router allows outside ICMP).

Easy setup, easy to use. Perfect simple WoL app with great instructions for users that might need a little help.

IP address field should support site/domain name, so those of us with Dynamic IP can use Dynamic DNS service.to resolve IP address.

Simple and functional. IP field DOES support URL, does exactly what it says on the tin. Some folks need to get some perspective before panning apps.
